q 1. Download the TPI3.zip file.

q 2. Extract all the files from the "TPI3.ZIP" file into a temporary folder (or run it from inside Win Zip).

q 3. Use windows "Explore" to open the temporary folder and double click on "Setup.exe".

q 4. Repeat Steps 2,3 and 4 for each workstation that has a QuickBooks client installed.

Requirements:

TPI can be installed on a server and or workstations depending on the on operating system and configuration.

q 1) A path and user rights to the QuickBooks installed folder or client must be available.


Before you continue be sure to open QuickBooks as the ADMINISTRATOR.

Important Installation Notes:

Sometimes the Microsoft XML Parser (needed to communicate with QuickBooks) either is out of date or isn't registered properly. If you receive an error message when attempting to run the program, please download and install the parser from our site: Microsoft XML Parser. This should resolve this problem.

Vista users:

Be sure you have User Account Control (UAC) turned on or the program will not be able to connect to QuickBooks. If you receive the message "Could not start QuickBooks" then see this article for turning on UAC in Windows Vista: VISTA UAC .


Unlock TPI

After you install TPI you must register it to unlock its full functionality. Please follow these steps to generate a registration code for the product. This registration code is only valid for the machine that you retrieved the system ID from.

q 1. Click on the TPI Icon on your desktop or click on the windows "START" button, select "All Programs" and then select "01 Transaction Pro Importer 3.0". Make sure you are logged on to QuickBooks as the administrator when you do this, and agree to allow the program to access QuickBooks when the dialogue box appears.

q 2. On the main screen click the "Register" button

q 3. When the program about screen loads click the "Register" button again

4. Email the "SYSTEM ID" to mike@delmarcc.com.

5. When we return your email with the "Serial Number", repeat steps 1 thru 3 above.

6. Copy and paste or enter the "Serial Number" into the registration screen field.

7. Click on the "OK" button.
