on the "Windows button", select "All Programs", select "DMCC Software"
and then select "QBLink-it".q 1. Download the QBLink-it.zip file,
q 2. Unzip the files in the "QBLink-it.zip" into a Temporary folder (or run it from Win Zip).
q 3. Use windows Explore to open the temporary folder and double click on "Setup.exe". Follow the wizard to complete the installation.
If you do not have other Del Mar Computer Corp utilities a new folder called"DMCC will be created. If you have the DMCC folder already or you are installing your first Del Mar Computer Corp. utility, a folder under the "DMCC" folder called "QBLinkit" will be created. Four additional folders will be created under the "\DMCC\QBLinkit" folder, that should never be deleted. They are called: "TPI Source Files"; "TPI Map File", "TPI Log Files".
q 4. Open the \DMCC\QBLinkit folder and run the "CreateConfig.exe" file.

5. To open QBLink-it click on the QBLink-it Icon on your desktop or click
on the "Windows button", select "All Programs", select "DMCC Software"
and then select "QBLink-it".
q 7. Enter the QBLink-it Login Name and Password. The default Name is "ADMIN" and the password is blank.
q 8. Enter the Encompass Login Name Password and Server. This is the same login information that you use to open Encompass. We suggest that you have an Admin persona so that all loan files are available for Posting.
q 9. QBLink-it SQL Database Login - QBLink-it uses an SQL database to store the data imported Encompass before it is Exported into QuickBooks. You can setup your own SQL database or if you do not have SQL you can add tables to the Encompass Database. If you are going to add tables you will need to know the login information. The Encompass login default is showen below in the picture. You will need to know your Encompass database password in order to create the tables. If you do not know it you can contact Ellie Mae tech support and request it.
q 10. Repeat Steps 2,3 and 4 for each workstation.

QBLink-it can be installed on a server and or workstations depending on the on operating system and configuration.
1) Encompass server or client must be installed on the same system
2) The Encompass SDK license must be install on the same system
3) A path and user rights to the TPI installation folder must be available.
