QBLink-it is a made up of two parts. The QBLink-it interface and 01 Transaction Pro Importer 3.0 (TPI). TPI is a third party program used to import the data from the export file created by QBLink-it into QuickBooks.
In order for data to import into QuickBooks there needs to be a path from Encompass, with the SDK license installed, to QBLink-it, to TPI and then to QuickBooks.

Suggested order of installation:
q 1. Encompass Standalone or Server or Client installed
q 2. Encompass SDK Licence installed
q 3. Install QuickBooks
q 4. Install TPI
q 5. Install QBlink-it

If you have purchased a optional Transactions, download
and save the QBlinkitOptions.XML to the \dmcc\QBLinkit
folder
QBLink-it has two separate programs to
be installed. One is the QBLink-it program that is used to search Encompass loan
files and import the data in the QBLink-it SQL tables. Second is a program
called Transporter Import Pro (TPI) used to import the posted data from
QBLink-it into QuickBooks.
System Requirements:
q 1. Windows PC Running XP (SR2) or newer including Vista operating systems.
Software Requirements:
q 1. QBLink-it will need a path and rights to TPI. In turn TPI will need a path and rights to QuickBooks.
q 2. QBLink-it and TPI can be installed on a Terminal Server environment.
q 3. If you QuickBooks Enterprise is installed with the client on each workstation, then QBLink-it and TPI need to installed on each workstation.
QBLink-it
-q 1. Encompass Professional, Custom or Bankers edition. Standard Edition only if you have purchased the SDK.
q 2. Encompass installed as a Server, Client or Standalone.

Encompass SDK License (installed on each computer running QBLink-it) . If you do not have the SDK license available you can call Ellie Mae's Tech support or you Sales Representative.q 4. Requires an SQL database and tables. If you do not have SQL installed then tables can be added to the Encompass database. If you want to add table to the Encompass Database you will need the Encompass Database Login information.
TPI
q 1. QuickBooks 2003 (US, CA) or newer installed on the machine.
q 2. QuickBooks must be opened, as the ADMINISTRATOR, to the company that it will import to.
