Del Mar Computer Corp. is able to create extensive reports with data from Encompass Contacts, Business Contacts and Loan Files.

• The built in Encompass report generator is limited in its functionality. With Crystal Reports we can create most any type of report that you may require.
• Crystal Reports is a powerful, dynamic, actionable reporting solution that helps you design, explore and visualize your Encompass Data.

Crystal reports give us the ability to create advanced reports with the following features:

1) Hierarchical grouping and Sorting

2) Charts and Graphs

3) Use predefined or user defined search criteria.

As an example when the user refreshes the report, they have the option to use the saved existing parameter (i.e. closed date is between 6/1/04 and 6/31/04) or they can set the new start and ending dates using a built in calendar.

Date ranges can have 1 or more fields tied to them (i.e. Originated and Closed Dates between 6/1/04 and 6/31/04).

We can also create more than one parameter (i.e. Closed Date Range and Loan Amount Range).

4) Parameters can be added to exclude data that you do not want to show on the report.

5) Calculations

• Add subtotals to create a grand total (i.e. Subtotal of Loan Amounts in several states = grand totals for each region).
• Add or subtract days between dates and use the number of days in another formula (i.e. If Days in Process are greater than 30 then include this loan to the report).
• Create sums, count, percentages, averages, weighted averages, to name a few.
• Calculations can be used to add data to a report or in the selection criteria to add or remove loans from a report.
